Palm T3 Works

Post by Garfield »

I've been reading about problems with the T3. However, I got mine to work with Flight of the Amazon Queen.

I bypassed the front end, and then in the game options under Audio I chose to override global audio settings and left the Music driver as Default. It seems that allowing ScummVM to use the default sound causes it to crash. By simply selecting to override the global audio I got it to work.

I haven't tried with any other games yet.

What doesn't work is the 5-way pad. The up and down work, but not the left and right. Everything else seems to work fine.

Hope this helps.

I'm experiencing an issue with Scumm engine games though. Even if I directly load the ScummVM backend it tells me "MemoryMgr.c, Line:3675, Invalid chunk ptr". Seems like the engine file is too big to handle for my T3, as other engine files such as Kyrindia work, showing up the backend. This happens only on ARM version though.

Is there any workaround for this issue, or will I have to downgrade to 0.71 again?
