Post by bilboBagins » Sat Jul 14, 2007 9:44 pm

 i am a nervous wrack -can´t search any longer for that file and my fingers are hurting me also...
Please  why is this file not simply present in your download area like the .dat filez for bass or kyra ?
i could freak out -scummvm says that my favorite Adventure of all time - Lure of the Temptress - is now -at least - playable - and i can´t test it couse of THIS missing file...

clem, if you replace the "*"s in the URL with "%2A"s, you can link it correctly:

http://scummvm.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... k/lure.dat

:P

:D hey thank you !! -both of you;)
hmmm and to be honest i already have a new question.
But its not simply about lure i think even though my t5 crashes directly by taping on lure in this new "selectEngine page" where it otherwise says that the lure.dat is needed ...
It is more likely a problem of my scummvm configuration or from my palm in general (somehow this new "tictactoe"-release sucks cause in the past it was not so difficult to get some "longSupported" games run nice in fullscreen;), but i don´t want to bother you so i'll post it as a new thread :)
-ps: am i right and there is NO real Manual for all options in all windows from the PalmOS-scummvm-port ..?!?!?

While there are some optons missed, This thread does contain much info about how to use ScummVM for palmOS and is supposed to act as said manual (it was a lot of work too  )

if there are parts you want elaborated on, please post to the above mentioned thread and if i can explain them ill add them to my TODO list, after all this doc is only as good as the contributions made :D .

About your problem it seems that you may be trying to start in direct mode.... have you tried adding the game from the frontend launcher as described in the ReadMe/FAQ thread?

Technically though lure is still an "in progress" engine and is not yet fully supported even on the desktop versions afaik
