Ok so Im new to ScummVM and would love to try it, but I only have a Mac OSX. I go to the downloads page and when I try the link it says its unavailable. Is there some place els I can get it for mac?

It's not just for OSX. All of the downloads form Sourceforge are down.
Give them some time. There is probably maintenance or some accident going on.
