Yes, it's true! Instead of everything being crammed into one massive thread, Grim Fandango Deluxe now has its own sub-forum courtesy of the ResidualVM project.

A huge thank you to the generous ResidualVM team for giving this project a little more space on their official forums. (Please Remember: Grim Fandango Deluxe remains a completely separate project to ResidualVM -- so don't go pestering them with anything to do with this mod. Thanks.)

Welcome to Grim Fandango Deluxe sub-forum.

What is Grim Fandango Deluxe?
Grim Fandando Deluxe is a wholly unofficial fan-made, not for profit, mod project for the original game Grim Fandango.

The project has absolutely no affiliation with LucasArts, LucasFilm, Disney OR (for that matter) ResidualVM.

The folks at ResidualVM have very kindly given us some space on their forums to discuss the mod project. Despite this, it's important to note that ResidualVM is not affiliated with this mod, either.

Important Rules for Posting Here
Given that GF Deluxe is a guest here, it's especially important that certain rules are followed:

0a) No Warez. No Abandonware discussions. Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated. No, it's not okay to request parts of a game either, even if you already own another version of it, or to replace damaged media.

0b) NO ORIGINAL GAME FILES. In the same way that linking to "warez" is not allowed, you must not link to any original Grim Fandango game files, either. Such documents are intellectual property, and sharing them, even to help someone with the mod project, is absolutely forbidden.

Of course, there should never be any reason to share original game files, as everyone working on this project should have them already, but it's worth pointing out anyway.

The rest of the rules are the same as for the ResidualVM forums. In short, be cool, be nice, be respectful.

That's it!
