Copy protection in SCI/Sierra games

Don't forget Sierra bypassed the copy protection on the CD version of the game.

I knew that, it's kinda obvious for CD games from mid 90's era.

But, I'm pretty sure it patched... sorry, cracked the EXE file. Most of the games protection from that era, and even today, are located in the EXE file. I still vaguely remember finding the cracks around 97, it's the year I had first time experience of internet.

If the EXE was patched it was unnecessary. But anyway. There weren't the greatest patches back then anyway. lol
