Why is there no autosave in t7g? I just encountered a bug in the latest rc (not sure if it is reproducable yet). But I hadn't saved in a long while. :(

Do you remember Sierra-on-line ?

You may have noticed that T7G uses its own save/load menu instead of the F5 menu at the moment.
This could (I'm not sure) mean its not that easy to add the autosave feature.

Probably. It could of course use an "out-of-reach" position like number 10 as autosave. And it would just be loadable from the scummvm launcher.
I found the bug and submitted it. Sometimes the menu is completely black, but the cursor is working. Annoying...

I just noted that the 7th guest is not on the "Playable to the end"-list. But even so, i was able to solve the entire game.
