how do i run simon the sorcerer 1 through SCUMMVM command line? what's the executable file?

the game is not being detected in the windows interface of SCUMMVM.

ScummVM IS the executable. I you mean that you can't see the files when you press 'add' in ScummVM, you are not supposed to either, simply select the folder where you have placed the games datafiles and press 'choose'.

yeah well, it still don't detect the game. nothing shows.
scummvm IS the executable, yes. but i mean the GAME executable. what do i write on the command prompt? 'scummvm <filename>'? get it?

What Jon meant is that scummvm replaces the old game executable - simon.exe or whatever was the old game executable is no longer required.

Here is a full list of games and the files actually needed to play each one... only the data files (and occasionally one or two others to identify a game/version) are needed...
