Sam And Max (German Talkie) - Intro animation too fast

Post by KevinW »

Hi there,

I've just stumbled across something that annoyed me from the beginning.

In the Intro of the German CD Talkie Version of Sam And Max the animation of the evil doctor after the first cut is running way too fast. (the line is "...wirst du bruzzeln wie eine grobe Bratwurst.") I've checked again and the original dos-version behaves the same.

Has anyone else noticed this problem? Would there be a way to solve it?

Yeah, I've noticed it too... in fact all of the intro-scenes, that don't use the in-game-sprites, are running too fast. The one where Sam is about to untie the girl, and is commenting on Max beating up the scientist, as well... the last frames of those scenes are held, until a character is finished with his line... very annoying.

You're right, I forgot to mention that scene. I guess it must be a sync-problem in the original resources. But maybe the Scummvm-Team will fix this sometime in the future, since some glitches and bugs of original engines have already been fixed.
