does any body have the problem of the game crashing at the same point time and time again? at the same command

Which version of FOA are you running? CD or Floppy? Which platform? PC or something else? Which OS? Windows, Linux...?

(obscure Clue boardgame reference here)
it's either the butler in the library with the knife
or
ScummVM on some mobile platform with scrolling bug

@deaffeet: Are you using a pirated version of FOA? This has occured in the past with a "bad" pirated version - seems a datafile is corrupted in this one, and it's not ScummVM's fault
