Tandy Color Computer AGI games

Post by scoriae »

It's taken a lot of work to extract the files from the disks, however I have gotten several Tandy copies of the games extracted and ScummVM recognizes them. That said, I never get sound if I try to launch them.

I had noticed that with my original AGI copy, it would detect my KQ1 copy as both CoCo3 or DOS. If I run it as a DOS game, it behaves as normal. If I run it as a CoCo3 game, I get no sound, but otherwise it plays normally.

With the actual files from a Tandy specific copy, it recognizes KQ1 as a CoCo game, however I get no sound and it crashes after the title screen.

Before I continue messing with my kryoflux trying to pull files from these disks, I wanted to see if sound works for anyone at all with these copies. I don't want to keep spinning my wheels assuming the issue is with my files if it is an actual issue with ScummVM. Which I suspect it is, as I can mount these in dosbox with a machine type of tandy and I get sound just fine.

I have managed to get the error (in the console)
WARNING: Sound resource (1) has unknown type (0x0000). Not using the sound!
