Curse of Monkey Island not finding saved games

Hi, I have Curse of Monkey Island on Steam; however, I recently bought it again on GOG. I tried to copy my saved games over from the Steam version to the GOG version, but ScummVM doesn't seem to be recognizing them. I have checked that I have set the save path to be correct.

Does anyone know why this is and what the solution might be?

The GOG Version was probably added with a different game-id, which in turn is used internally to name the save states.

The easiest way to check and fix this would be to save once with the new GOG version and look into your save drawer.
If your new save name differs from your old save names, you can rename the old ones to match the new names.

That should make them visible and usable in the launcher again.

e.g.
cmi-win.s01 (old name)
cmi-gog-win.s01 (new name)
(Those are completely made up names, I'm not near my gear and can't check for the proper naming)

You can also see the game id, and change it (which might be simpler than renaming the save files if you have many of them) in the Edit game dialog in ScummVM.
