ScummVM plus remote mouse and keyboard

Hi all
I spent a good amount of time around this issue and I would like to understand if it's worth going on or not.

I installed scummvm 1.7.0 on Raspberry and now I would like to use an old Android device as a remote mouse/keyboard. The app I installed is "Unified Remote" that works over WiFi.
I have the same issue that most tablet/touchpad users also have: mouse doesn't work when in fullscreen mode.

I understood the problem has been solved for lot of platform.
I am wondering if there is a solution also for the configuration I described above.

Any suggestion or feedback will be really appreciated.
