Mac - can I install PC games? noooob

I have ScummVM working on my Android so get the general gist of the program BUT silly Q - can I buy any version of a game and use with ScummVM on my Mac? I couldn't find a portal for Mac. THanks!!

Any game that is compatible with ScummVM will work on ScummVM Mac. This includes PC versions, Amiga versions and more!

So everybody who is partitioning their hard drives or using virtualisations to install WIndows just for games should really just use Scumm?

No, it seems that you don't quite understand what ScummVM is. It is reimplementation of specific game engines. Thus, if a game is not on the compatibility list, it will not work with ScummVM.
