Sam & Max & Conroy Bumpus

Post by Higgins »

I recently finished S&M in english with voices on my DS.
Is it mandatory to have the CD tracks, because the Conroy Bumpus song was mute when I got there? I don't want to finish the game again right away, so could anyone tell me if the song (and the end credits, I think) is present when using the CD tracks? -I already converted them in IMA ADPCM, so I don't need any info about that.

Thanks, and bravo to the Team.

No, the game audio tracks are not used at all. Check here:

Thanks, but does that mean there is no singing for "king of the creatures" at all? Does this apply only to ScummVM DS, or to ScummVM too?

The vocals definitely exist in the game, and I heard it when I first played through the game on ScummVM on PC. I think I also had the problem with the missing music for that song on the DS as well, now that I think of it.

Hmmm...the plot thickens!
Are the developers aware of this problem?

Yes, I have it on my list of issues to look at.
