King's Quest 3: DOS

I'm having the exact same problem that's mentioned here:
http://www.sierraplanet.com/boards/view ... f=2&t=1104

Windows XP version 1.3.1 that I downloaded just a couple of days ago from this site also had this bug as well.

When I upgraded to 1.4.0 for Windows XP again today, I was able to cast the spell correctly.

Cheers. :)

I upgraded to the official, scummvm_1.4.0-maemo_armel release that was given out today.

The same issue still remains at the end of KQ3.

Kind regards. :)

Please log a bug and attach a save and I'll try to reproduce.

I'll look into how to file a bug when I have some free time, I've never done it before.

For now, here's a save file just before the dragon.

Thank you Tarek. :)

Sorry James, I cannot reproduce.

Here's what I did:
  • Loaded your savegame
  • type "rub ointment on body"
  • walk west one screen to the dragon and stop
  • type "stir brew with finger"
  • type "brew of storms churn it up"
  • the dragon dies.
I tried this with the 1.4.0 release deb on my n810.

I have a stupid brain. *lol*

What I was doing before was
rub ointment on body
and
stir brew with finger
on the same screen just before the dragon.

Apparently you need to stir brew with finger for each new screen.

Sorry to have wasted your entire life on my nonsense. :)
