snapshots for the upcoming 1.4.0 release

Post by tsoliman »

If you would like to help test the upcoming 1.4.0 release then grab a snapshot from here

I will be updating this link every time I build a new snapshot.

There has been a massive rewrite to the port so a lot has changed.
Be sure to read the keybindings section of the wiki.

N810 is currently fully supported (I have one) and N900 isn't tested yet.

EDIT (OCT 11) New functionality introduced for N800: "Fullscreen" key now invokes the virtual keyboard.
Please test this if you can because I am not sure I am detecting the N800 correctly. On non-N800 tablets, the fullscreen key still toggles fullscreen.

Hi Tarek!

Could you post the folder structure for the Lands of Lore CD?

I pulled all of the files from inside each of the folders and clumped them all into one folder.

This usually works for SCUMM.

It's probably not the case for this game.

My GENERAL.PAK, like all the files, is on the root of my Lands of Lore folder.

I'm currently using your scummvm_1.4.0~git5e8562d_armel build.

Any advice? :)

Keep the folder structure as is on the CD in the game's folder. The datafiles page tells that too, i.e. notice how it tells you to copy the directories.

Hi Tarek.

I posted this yesterday.
http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=11021

It seems like it was a really small bug with your release.

Cheers. :)

A bug was fixed in the way AGI commands are handled. Updating to the latest ScummVM version should fix this - I believe here that the problem was that the Maemo version was and older daily version...(?)
