Eventually, try to copy again the files from your CDs, we had a lot of false error reports in the past related to broken files.

nevermind, i made a mistake. I was under the impression that i have to pick a folder that have SOME files for it to detect, never occurred to me to choose the root directory. now it's working fine. sorry for the trouble.
