Playable but having a really annoying graphics problem, the portraits and character walking animation are not shown.

#3038989
was a regression, is already fixed.

Not completable. Crashes after leaving the bus at the start. Bug 3038913
That doesn't make it not completable though. You can still use the insect repellent on yourself inside the bus and then walk out.

Game: The Castle of Dr. Brain
Game Version: DOS/ENGLISH
ScummVM Version: 1.2.0svn51672
Operating System: WinXP (SP3)

I attempted a playthrough on expert. This crashed on me at the robot jokes puzzle, submitted 3039036. The game is completable - the crash doesn't happen if you solve the robot maze puzzle first, which you actually need to do anyway in order to solve the robot jokes puzzle.

Also, I can't verify this with 100% confidence, but the timing on the hourglass puzzle feels off. It seems that in DOSBox, you can act much faster - when an hourglass runs empty, you can flip the right one almost immediately, and the puzzle will be completed after the proper sequence of flips. In ScummVM, this approach fails me - I find I only succeed in ScummVM if I wait about a second before flipping the hourglass.

Of course! I'm an idiot. I completed the game and reajusted the previous entry accordingly.

The first round of testing is for PC games only, testing of Amiga games will start at a later time. Thanks for your report, though :)

Game: Police Quest 3: The Kindred
Game Version: DOS/English
ScummVM Version: 1.2.0svn51527 and 1.2.0svn51717
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6.4

Problems:
* Ran into issue 3037945 using r51527, the white car disappeared and reappeared once I issued the ticket. Didn't test in svn51717
* Used svn51717 to complete the game from where it had been crashing (Day 4) due to issue 3037565
* Had minor issues with two pieces of music playing over each other as well as Bonds promptly exiting the bar on Day 5 the first time I entered, forcing me to enter a second time. Unsure if this is supposed to be happening or not.

you should consider the fact that some sci games have svga supported. For instance the CD version of Gabriel Knight. The icons and character portraits have all been redrawn in higher resolution.

OK, but what does this have to do with SCI testing?

From the games announced, only KQ6 has hires support. And yes, hires (i.e. Windows) versions are supported too when available (just select the Windows version in the launcher)

A large white column drawn on the left field, that does not show up in DosBox.
