Discworld I PSX Demo

Post by sanguinehearts »

Hey,
Im looking to locate the PSX Discworld demo,
Ive managed to find Broken Sword 1/2 and Discworld II psx demos
It would be good to find the Discworld I demo.
I know this existed and was released in 1995.

If anybody has any PSX magazines from around that date could you check the coverdiscs?

Thanks

I have the disc but I don't want to part with it as its part of a collection, does the fact that its a demo disc cause copyright issues if i was to make an ISO of it and get it to you that way?

It also featured on another cover disc within issues 1-10.

There should be no issues with the distribution of the demo.
infact all I would really need would be the actual game demo files from the folder within the disc, probably in a folder named 'dw' or something.

I dont think I need the rest of the data from the disc.

Thank you Meringues!

Just checked the Discworld folders on both discs and it seems that the uncompressed size on disc 1 is 71.4 MB and disc 9 is 68.4 MB so something could be different but I'm sure they are the same.

When compressed with 7-zip they are both 46 MB.

Thanks to Hkz the psx demo(as well as the full game) is now playable in SVN. Although you will need to copy all the files from the directories into one directory. The Music is not implemented yet.
