How does target_md5 work?

I have got a modified version of Zak McKraken FM Towns and Indy 3, but I've got trouble with setting the correct md5 at the right place. I wrote the md5 ScummVM suggested just at the last line of the game settings in scummvm.ini, but somehow it still doesn't work. Does it have something to do with "The magic id doesn't match (0xFE08)!"? But strange... in earlier version it worked, for example in the Daily Snapshot of 18th August.

You should provide MD5 of unpatched version there and it will work.
