Fate of Atlantis audio files?

Post by p »

I have a super secret project (not a fan game) that I think fans of Fate of Atlantis will be excited about, but I need to get my hands on the audio from Fate of Atlantis. The speech files really.

I tried the Scummvm tools but could not figure a way to get usable audio files from the monster file.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Google Scumm Revisited. With it you can extract many game resources (including speech).

As a note - when you get to extracting the audio, look in the MONSTER.SOU file.

I also believe the speech in most SCUMM games is .VOC format which is a renamed .WAV or something, either way "VLC Media Player" should be able to play them fine. As for remastering if that's what you're going for, try Audacity.

VOC is a completely different sound format from WAV.
