You awake with a splitting headache...

Post by DrMcCoy »

...on a moving ship and you've got no recollections on how you got there. Can you find your way around when you're Lost in Time?

Same procedure as last time: Get your copy of Lost in Time and a daily build of ScummVM, then report all bugs to our bug tracker and submit screenshots to our patch tracker. For further information, check out the bug submission guidelines and screenshot guidelines, respectively.

Have fun, and good luck (you'll need it ;P).

Again, thanks, DrMcCoy. I don't know if I'll have much time to bug test it now, but I'll see what I can do. After this, is Woodruff next?

Hello,

I'm confused about the different lost in time versions. I heard about lost in time part 1, part 2, cd version.

What versions does scummvm support?

What are the improvements of the CD version compared to the floppy versions?

Thanks

Well, theoretically, all of them should work. But it may be that the versions with separate parts have problems (and that saving doesn't work there), because I don't have any of these.

Thanks for all the hard work its always nice to see scummvm supporting a new game.

Well it seems to work quite nicely with the CD-ROM version of the game I have just purchased off ebay although I get the following message on startup:

Trying to start game 'Gob engine game'
WARNING: File "COMMUN.STK" not found!
WARNING: File "TOME1.STK" not found!
WARNING: File "TOME2.STK" not found!

Dose that mean my version has some files missing ?

So far I have played to the flash back part at the mansion and have not spotted any problems but I have never played the game before so I may not have noticed if something was missing.

The version file on the cd contains the following text:
1.000
11.06.93
LOST IN TIME

That's normal and can be safely ignored. The game scripts apparently probe the game version that way.

Thats good to here I guess I can get on with playing the game now without having to worry about missing anything.

Well without missing anything that is not my own fault for not paying sufficient attention.
