Registry value for ScummVM?

Post by iPwnzorz »

I'm currently updating the CD I made that includes BASS and ScummVM with a selection menu. To save clutter, I'd like Install ScummVM to change to Launch ScummVM when SVM is actually installed, however this can only be acheived through Registry Values, so, is there a Registry Value for SVM, if so, where?

The installer does, though. In my experience the key is

Code: Select all

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ScummVM_is1\
Whether it's always that I don't know; I tend to not play with the registry as it's an evil beast---but in such cases it can be useful. :)

Your right there is! Perhaps this is what I need since it should only be there once ScummVM has been installed! Thanks JKing.

EDIT: Hmmm no I can't seem to exploit it, besides, the only way I can make it work is if Install and Launch ScummVM becomes the primary button, and I want Beneath a Steel Sky to be on top.

I'm not sure. I'll keep experimenting around, it's nothing big if I don't manage it, just means there will always be an extra button there.

Why can't you exploit it?

I don't know... Well I worked around it and it's better in a way.

Here's a screenshot of the finished product:
