Mac OS X 10.5?

Post by clone2727 » Wed Aug 09, 2006 6:36 pm

Will ScummVM be able to run on 10.5 when it comes out? Apple has a sneak peak on their site; it will be 64-bit.

Shouldn't be any problem; Apple wouldn't be dumb enough that they'd make Leopard not backwards compatible with 32-bit binaries :). Especially not this close to the Intel transition.

I can test it with the games I have when I get home from WWDC. I don't expect any problems though.

It's not a demo/BETA of Leopard, just a peak at what it's features are.

I think you'll find he has a nice shiny Developers preview CD/DVD containing Leopard that was given to attendees of the Apple WWDC, so he should be able to test it out.
