Win Games on mac with scummVM ?!

I've got a question.
I have for example Simon the Soccerer I & II for Windows at home.
Now I work on a mac. is it possible to play these old win games on my mac with summVM?
Does it matter if it is a windows version or not when i use scummVM?

Generally the Windows versions are the best-supported versions in ScummVM
