Not currently. Only the English version will be officially supported in the next release. And if/when I do return to the engine to add support for other languages, it's likely only the German version will be added, since that's the only non-English version available on GOG, and I don't own the French version.

If you want I can give you a copy of my french floppy version. This version is avaliable on abandonware-france.org if you want.

We always insist on legitimate copies to be donated or sourced in such cases. Not only to not support piracy in any form, but we wouldn't be able to be otherwise sure that the so-called "abandonware" version hadn't changed something which would affect the detection entry. In any case, my earlier point remains the same.. if/when the German version becomes supported, you could always again offer to donate your copy for translation at that point.

No because the site is partner with GOG. It's not a pirate site.

Just because it "partners" with any legitimate site doesn't redeem it from offering pirated versions of games.

Where on the site does it state and prove that all of the offered games/software are legitimate copies with written permission to put in there from the original authors/right holders?

If you can show that to us, i'll take back my pirated comment, otherwise it's pirated as pirated can be...

It's not legitime copies with written permission.
This site remove games when right holders ask them and add versions of games only no available on store market.
For example, french version of World of xeen is still because no french version is avaliable on gog or steam.

It's the difference between true abandonware site whose the only aim is preserve the visibility of ancient game like a museum and some vulgar pirated site.

I invite you to consult the site reading their chart to make a true opinion if you understand the french.

Before asking, I precise that I don't work for this site or family reliated at the members of this site, just the fact that I like their philosophy.

I can understand without any problem that you don't want to have any relation with them and I don't try to modifiy your opinion. I try to explain the aim of this site and only this site.

LOL

Yeah, it's the same with taking someone else's novel (or any work someone spent years on to create) and spread it unconditionally...sure, if the original author tells me to put it down i, of course, do so, until then everything i have up, stays up...
Who cares for IP, who cares for the original authors work, who cares for the fame, who cares for potential revenue?

See the flaws?

It's a pirate site, period.
