Call of Cthulu games now available on GOG

Post by dreammaster »

I just noticed that GOG has just announced both Call of Cthulu games available for sale. It may be an opportune time for anyone interested to dust off the old unfinished Comet/Prisoner engines, now the games are easier to obtain. :)

+1 to this. FYI, there were memory crash related issues in the Comet engine when I last looked with Valgrind. I'd fix these first.

Aside from bugs the Comet engine should be feature complete. The Prisoner engine is missing mostly the games menus.
If anyone wants to finish them I'll gladly help explaining the code and how the games work etc.

I hope you'll find someone. I'd love to help, but I doubt I'd be able to do more than little things, at best. (Though I do have a couple of different versions of Prisoner of Ice, so I might at least be able to help test that they're running.)
