Heh. I hear Mr. Ellison is a dangerous fellow when he's upset. ;)

(Suddenly it's in the wikipedia article too.)

I can't say I'm not waiting for the oft-promised PC version of Mercenaries 2 (as I am, and so should you), it's just that the last in-house-developed game published by LucasArts was -- when exactly? They live off those royalties and exclusive publishing rights, I'm afraid. RTX Red Rock, no? (I rath...

You do not know how long I've wondered if you could download games legally, pay for and download instead of waiting all that time for the disks to arrive. Well, that's what Steam, Gametap, TryGames, RealArcade, TotalGaming.net, MatrixGames.com, and so on and so forth are all about. The list goes on...

Indeed. :?

I've asked before if anyone's had success in purchasing I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream from the Harlan Ellison Store, but I never got a response.

You can actually buy The Dig brand-new direct from Amazon.co.uk. It seems it was re-released over there.

Someone also mentioned that Full Throttle is available as a download from MOD: REMOVED.

In theory, the achievement of each point would be marked in a save file somewhere (to prevent you from collecting a particular point more than once). So, supposedly, you could make a program that would analyze the save file and tell you exactly what you missed, right?

I get the impression that Lucasarts does not stop publishers of foreign versions of its older games from rereleasing them. Ubi Soft published the French versions, and I've seen them do several different rereleases of some of the old Lucasarts games. (The last one came out a while ago, though, so the...

The Order links on the game's home page don't even seem to work anymore. Is it legally available at all?

I've heard that this tends to happen on nVidia cards if DoubleScan is enabled.

DoubleScan can be disabled by right clicking the desktop > Properties > Advanced > Display Mode Timing > Uncheck 'Enable Doublescan for lower resolutions'.
