Yes, but it will only be effective after it already expired so it ends up being every 8 days.

The temporary signing cert Xcode uses to sign the executable expires after 7 days. Just rerun the app from Xcode (it should already be all configured and built) with the connected iPad as the target and it will auto fix itself and install a fresh temporary cert. Last year, Apple changed the non-deve...

Funny observation: The Steam version of the game contains an ISO file called GK1.GOG :D

I had better results (menu music not messed up) by extracting that ISO into a directory and pointing ScummVM at it, than just pointing ScummVM at the GK1 directory.

  • Realize the game isn't supported yet, and so you'll need to use a daily build of ScummVM
  • Make sure you're using the files from the original one (495700) and not the 20th Anniversary remake (262000)
  • The game files ScummVM wants are in the GK1 subdirectory, so point it at that

Maybe switch to touchpad mode? It's the mode where you move the mouse cursor by dragging (like a laptop's touchpad)

Re: ScummVM full release detecting unsupported games

I'm not sure if this was a conscious decision or not, but in the past the full release versions did not detect games that were typically only detectable with the SVN version. The situation is different with engines that have sub-engines (e.g. SCI32 is a sub-engine of SCI) where the code for the uns...

Just curious, why do --prefix=$HOME?

Are you going to do a make install or something?

Oh I think I see why you would think so. I am not a C++ guru but I think the following is correct: #include <foo.h> means look in INCLUDE directories (which configure would set up) #include "foo.h" looks at the current directory (So for SDL2 for example <SDL.h> is actually /usr/include/SDL...

Is libsdl-dev (or even better: libsdl2-dev) installed?

Install it, revert your changes and then rerun configure and make.

Does it crash when hooked up to your physical MT-32 as well?

Theoretically yes. It largely depends on the version/flavor of Windows and Android.

The keywords to google for is "cifs mount Android"

Good luck :)

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

FWIW, ScummVM does (unofficially) support running the "Ultimate Talkie Edition" fan patch of MI1&2 SE.
