It looks like the Toonstruck engine is buggy: if you save using the ScummVM engine, then it gives an error when it successfully saves the game, and no error when it fails to save the game.. the same for errors when loading a game. I don't have the same myself but another developer confirmed this hap...

Re: (16bbp) Backyard Football 2002 Support?
Through some searching, I've managed to figure out that the Android port does not support 16bbp color (which BYF 2002 uses). The Android port doesn't support the specific type of 16bpp color (555) which some of the HE games use. No promises on a fix any time soon, but hopefully we'll get around to ...

Re: disable/hide soft keys
It's on our TODO list, thanks.elynch wrote:I am currently using SCUMMVM on my nexus 7 tablet and there are "soft keys" located at the bottom of the screen. The soft keys hide in some applications like video players. I was wondering if it is possible to hide the soft keys while playing scummvm.

Menu button was a bad idea. Multitouch has never been required for Android compatibility. 3-touch multitouch definitely isn't available on all devices. Volume keys haven't been required since Android 1.6. It sucks that HTC decided to break the Menu button on their devices, and we'll look into addin...

If Back2theroots got permission to host it before it was sold, then technically, sierra had no right to sell it to activision as it had already been deemed freeware. They do make it very clear that these games are not freeware, and I would assume that any permission probably came with a revocation ...

Re: Simon The Sorcerer 2 Scumm crashes at startup
Which version of ScummVM are you using on your desktop? If it's the same version as you're using on your phone, it sounds like you corrupted the files when copying them; it would probably be easiest to re-copy them directly from your original CD again.TitoDarko wrote:I get this error in the console window:

Re: Myst (Mac)
OK, like my previous post (Myst Masterpiece Edition (Mac)), I recently bought Myst for Macintosh. I have copied the files to my hard drive, and it is not found by ScummVM. It does not contain any .dat files, and appears to be Hypercard stacks after viewing them with notepad. Is there anything I can...

Our documentation here is indeed pretty terrible, but http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/User_ ... th_ScummVM covers most of the usual cases, although the game specifics are somewhat out-of-date now that I look at it.[/url]

Yeah, it's because on older Android versions (pre-2.3 and buggy unofficial 2.3 builds) the whole binary+plugins has to fit in the internal memory, and a monolithic build is almost 20mb at this point. Judging by the current Google Play statistics, we can probably safely ignore that group of users by ...

So that's a no, huh? Your question doesn't make much sense; there's only one filesystem root on the device, and that root is always internal storage, so you can never 'exit' out of it. Usually SD cards are mounted under /sdcard or /mnt/sdcard, but it looks like on an Onda VI40 Ultimate it's under /...
