This thread is more than long enough already. And it's become outdated with the release of 0.8.1. Closing :) Some of you may be disappointed by the new release since the requested features - booting from any device - forcing a videomode - using hdd0:+Homebrew as partition - fix for the comi cannon b...

in that case, I think you'll have to delete the partition and start over.
The FTP server on the PS2 probably messed something up.

That's really strange... Are you using all the IRX from the RC3 archive or did you replace any? Do you boot scummvm directly or do you use any kinds of additional tools? I've managed sometimes to break the FS of a partition when uploading files to it via FTP. You might want to delete and recreate th...

Not sure what could possible cause it.
First of all, you should make sure that all your files were correctly copied and that there are no read errors from cd.

Did you use the CUE file for recording the ISO?
If you just recorded it with Nero by double clicking the ISO file, Nero may have used the wrong recording mode.

or maybe the PSP's GPU has a function for YUV->RGB conversion that could be used to speed the mpeg2 decoding up?
But I have to admit... I'm not sure how much CPU power that conversion actually takes.

I had a similar problem. But I can't really remember how exactly it happened.... I was trying to upload The Dig to my PS2's HDD using some tool, I think it was execftps. It always crashed at the same file, thereby fubaring the FS in a way that I couldn't delete the files or directory anymore. I trie...

Thanks, I'm glad you like our hard work. :) 1. Yes, you can start Curse of Monkey Island and it will run, however if you play it from cd/dvd it'll crash sooner of later. 2. It does run basically perfectly from HDD. (only issue seems to be some problems when playing with Gamepad instead of usb mouse)...

Support for mp3/ogg would be quite easy to implement. Looping won't be a problem either
What do you mean by seperate BASS version? The .DSK / .DNR wouldn't need to be changed, if that's what you mean.

The main reason for using an ini instead of the registry is that there is no Registry for mac os/linux/pocket pc/psp/ps2/dreamcast etc.
An ini file works for all ports obviously.

ScummVM currently doesn't support being booted from anything else but the cd; sorry about that.
It'll be fixed "soon".
I'm currently too busy with uni, christmas and stuff. -_-

Lots of things happening, huh? :) Interesting. Now I'm really curious what everyone ends up with ;) edweird: I don't know about the jazz tracks... In general, I'd stay close to the original, without replacing entire songs. But, well, I don't know a thing about remixing. I'm sure you know what you're...

yes, but given that ScummVM uses only 32 bit datatypes and stuff, does it actually make any kind of difference? "It gives you the feeling" does not exactly justify the additional work of producing special binaries and testing games on yet another platform, does it? But well, maybe I'm comp...
