The game you mention is not supported by ScummVM. See here for a list of compatible games: https://www.scummvm.org/compatibility/. From what I can tell, this is a Windows 3.1.x game. Your best bet is setting up windows in dosbox and running the game from there. Or, it might work with newer versions ...

It is possible that he does not check his pm's as frequently as mail, but he should be notified by mail if you sent the PM through the forums.

Joining the #scummvm IRC channel on #freenode would give you a much more direct line of contact with sev (and other devs).

Might be because Wintermute is not fully supported yet. Only a few games work.

Blade Runner is not supported yet. Although there has been a lot of progress lately, the engine is far from complete, and will probably not be playable until the end of the year, or even 2019.

I'm not sure there ever was a demo. I found a trailer demo on a command and conquer cd though, which you can check out here:

I would recommend dropping by the IRC channel #scummvm on freednode. It is much easier to get a response from ScummVM devs there. You should contact _sev or Strangerke about this.

I'm guessing the manual has not been updated.

Simply download the tools and select the game you want to compress.
It has a gui and the process is automated.

Like it says, it shouldn't make any difference, as the files with the same name on cd1 and cd2 should be exactly the same, except in the case of Phantasmagoria. There is no preference, simply merge the folders.

Just because gog mounts images doesn't mean that they don't prefer to shrink the games and not have the user do 'ctrl+f4' which believe it or not, is a major obstacle to a casual gamer that never heard of dosbox or read readmes. If it was policy to just dump isos they wouldn't have merged all the o...

I think you are wrong. gog has used dosbox with mounted cd images for along time, for several games. Both Rama and Lighthouse play perfectly fine in dosbox.

Yes, this seems totally redundant.

What would be the point of uniting the files into a new file?
Also, it would not be the original game data anymore. I vote no.

I am guessing the people who named it are no longer around. Perhaps ask Ender or Fingolfin?
