Hello, it seems, you have no permission to write the save file. Maybe you have no write permisson for the whole subdirectory. Did you try to specify a special Save Directory? The messages during the game play are caused by the AutoSave feature of ScummVM (every 5 minutes, I think). kind regards Frank

Hello, @knakos: Yes, that would be really great. Maybe you can provide it like a patch in order to have it in all PocketScumm Versions, not only in "your" PocketPC 2002 Version (really good job btw). BTW: Have you tried to compile an actual CVS Version for PocketPC? Maybe I have some time ...

Hello, I didn't want to be rude, but if someone complains about drive letters in a file dialog, it is very likely, that he is a beginner. The target of this forum is not to tell beginners, what drive letters are. BTW: It is normal, that ScummVM tells at the first start, that it can't find the ini-Fi...

Hello, ever heard of drive letters? Yes, the letters are representing the drives in your computer. A is most likely the floppy, C the first HD, D can be a HD or CD/DVD and so on. I'm sure you have copied the content of your original CD to a HD or installed your floppy-games to it. After that it is e...

Hello, talkspeed='value' is correct. I'm not sure, if it works for all games, but at least for the scumm games this should be sufficient. I think the range is from 0 up to 10, the lower the faster. But you have also the possibility to change the text speed with Keys now. Use -/+ in order to make tex...

Hello,

you have the Floppy version of the game. The Floppy versions have voice only in the intros.
Buy the CD Full Talkie Version in order to have voice in the whole game.

Hello,

you have to use the ScummVM Tools in order to convert the Simon WAV Files to MP3, they are not "normal" WAVs. See here:

http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/downloads.php#tools

The usage of the tools is described in the reamde and in thousands of posts in this forum.

Hello,

use 0.7.1.

....

No, to be honest: it would be much easier to answer the question with some more details.
- which games are you using
- what exact means "damaged Graphics"
- which settings do you use.
- etc.

Hello, I would like to suggest the Windows Installer of ScummVM. Use the stable 0.8.0 Release binaries for the beginning: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scummvm/scummvm-0.8.0-win32.exe?download Only in case you have problems with your games you should try the Daily CVS Snapshot, which is the new...

no, there is no MIDI Music in the CD Versions of Monkey Island, only some sound effects. You have to use CD audio or NO audio.
