I think there have been EOB remakes in Neverwinter Nights that you can run on your mac.

As for the Gold Box games, DOSBox is by far the easiest way to go. Also works well for Bard's Tale, Dragon Quest and so on.

Perhaps it is possible to bluntly stop all active timers and dump the whole program memory to disc? Not very graceful, but perhaps easier to implement? And then on restart ask whether you want to start a new game, or load the previously saved state? Just thinking out loud here. ScummVM will be at th...

ZakMcKracken and the Alien Mindbenders. Got me hooked on LucasArts adventures and I never looked back :). MI and DOTT follow closely.
