Lol the CLI version includes a different GUI version. But no, that didn't help unfortunately. The game never did output a error in dosbox, just refused to change if placed on the patches dir. dosbox DOS version does not work Windows version does the same in scummvm scummvm DOS version works. Maybe t...

I just tried it under DosBox and that method did not work, the game was complaining about bad compression. But I did get it to work under DosBox when using SCI Resource Viewer instead to extract the 100.p56 and 100.v56-files. I'm guessing ScummVM isnt as picky as the original interpreter at some po...

edit: didn't see the post above Strangely it worked (from a git compile, since the ubuntu repos don't have SCI enable) when adding the DOS CD version, but not with the Windows CD version (they have the same entry on the detection tables and come from the same install). Also the game run on dosbox do...

Dirty question regarding SCI
I'd like to do a small hack. The Gabriel Knight 1 sins of the fathers intro screen was 'updated' on the CD version from this: http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/l/15728-gabriel-knight-sins-of-the-fathers-dos-screenshot-alternate.gif to this: http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/l/9884-gabriel-kn...

I think it's more of a 'backwards compatibility problem'. For some reason they choose to turn fullscreen mouse movement with hidden cursor movement relative, probably at the dawn of time. I don't understand why, but it's probably some misguided notion that 'hiding cursor -> fps'. Now they're stuck w...

Small bug with touchpad
I reported this on irc, but it may get lost there. Touchpads in X and SDL fullscreen apps have a problem with touchpad cursor movement if their mouse movement is not relative (like a shooter) but absolute (like scummvm). https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+ques...

Now? True Mt32 emulation always was a big drain - it's actually faster now, in modern machines, because of the better compilers (for those modern machines) and more polish. Scummvm is actually using a 'stable' fork for some reason though. If you have ubuntu, you can try the most recent mt32emu in do...

Indiana jones and the last crusade right click for look verb
Another usability request - could this be a option, or maybe default for this game (256 version)? I know that you can still use the 'x' keyboard button to select the look verb, but it's not quite as nice. Monkey island 1 vga had the right click for this funny enough. It seems that previous games did...

Re: When will the game support BLADE RUNNER ScummVM?
if ever wine gets ported to android (unlikely since i think they hacked libc)... it works with it.davix123 wrote:I would like to play Blade Runner on my Android devices ... but not supported yet. Would it be possible that would work with scummvm?
