Is the vita even hacked so it can run software that isn't signed (unlike in the PSP where the private key was reverse engineered)?

Although it would probably require some expansion of older games primitive pathfinding systems maybe, to be used completely hands off. And then there are the puzzles that require positioning...
A invasive change to the wrong engines, although i wonder if the parser based AGI/SCI wouldn't be easier.

Extracting that information from when it can be extracted into a common parser would be great indeed.

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

ags has ts own engine port: https://github.com/adventuregamestudio/ags It isn't perfect yet, (there are bugs on some games on linux, and the 'dll plugins' haven't been ported), but for instance, you can play the blackwell, primordia etc games. In fact i doubt that there is a game that will outright ...

The port of ags is opensource, so you can build it on linux - still need the game to play it obviously - from here: https://github.com/adventuregamestudio/ags/commits/master currently the only problem is on systems with pulseaudio because the library they use (allegro) doesn't have a pulseaudio driv...

It's a pity about KQ5 since that is the most egregious case. I remember playing it 10+ years ago and wondering where is the text. Anyway, about the in-graphics for the 'both' button, why don't you hold a competition for a button graphic on the same style with GPL attribution? It's not like style is ...

It's pretty easy to do a daily build ppa if the program compiles easily and without non-system libraries. I did it myself for a few programs.

Yes i see it. Pretty funky the dos interpreter is able to use that kind of resolution (the images almost fill my 1366x768 display. I did try but it refused to replace the image (that btw, changed from 100.p56 to 11000. v 56) It must be checking the size. And the other one too (100.v56 to 10100.v56),...

Actually... is there some kind of cache on the interpreter? That could explain it. There's a 'RESOURCE.ALT' and 'ALT.MAP' here i'm sadly suspicious of. edit: it's not a cache, as proven by moving it out of the game; not found blahblah. However it does contain resources. Possibly some windows version...

I'm just looking for possibilities. It's pretty strange that the hack works on the DOS version works on scummvm but the 'windows' one doesn't.

And strange that the gabriel knight interpreter doesn't want to replace it, since it's not one of the early games.

audio = .\;.\sfx;.\patches;.\aud
sync = .\aud
movieDir = .\seq
patchDir = .\;.\patches

This from the SHP installer. I will try to reverse the patchDir line, though it shouldn't make any difference since the files are not on .
edit: nope.
