Yup, works without "skipping time" now! Awesome job Bluddy! That's just what this port needed. I don't know what issues is JoostP talking about, but could it be a difference that I'm running a PSP Slim? Different memory allocation and all that jazz... I don't know what caused it, but with...

Any feedback on Bluddy's patch would be much appreciated. I was having some problems with it, which is why it's not committed yet. Hopefully we can iron out those issues soon. Also, a reminder that we have buildbot generated nightly builds (which as of today are provided as EBOOTs rather than ELFs, ...

Great!

You should submit a patch to the Patch Tracker (link on the front page).

In short; when you resume, all the file handles are closed/invalid. Since ScummVM / the game engine is not aware of this, any subsequent reads a games does will fail (they'll need to be re-opened first). At least, I believe that's what was going on last I looked (which admittedly was some time ago!)...

Yes, the cause is known.

It has not been addressed since last I looked it would require some substantial platform specific changes/workarounds in the File class, although I've since thought of a few possible alternative ways to address this, so with some luck this'll be addressed in the future.

VBR makes seeking very hard/complicated. Try CBR at 96 or 128kbps.

MT32 emu support is not compiled in, because it would be pointless (unusable).

Does the 7th guest run at acceptable speed on PSP? I've had some reports to the contrary.

I do. You'll find out soon enough. :)

Re: New Version on the AppStore

A (more likely) alternative path that I can see is that these game companies suddenly start noticing FOTAQ on the App Store. If they see it fares well, they'll start porting their games like mad (using ScummVM) and cash in on the games by selling them all as seperate App Store apps, which actually ...

Probably easiest is to download the "Ogg addon" from the downloads page, and remove the FLAC files.

Oh, and of course file a bug report on the tracker for this issue. :)

Concerning this release, that article mentions it was released from "iPhSoft", which seems to be pointing to clem's website for the game: http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0200586/videogames/fotaq/index.html That is disappointing in fact. Clem did not discuss it with anyone. Eugene I doubt c...

From the description it's undoubtedly using ScummVM. It probably got yanked because ScummVM is still using private frameworks (Core Surface), which is a no-go for releasing your app on the app store. Although in that case you'd expect them to catch that early on in QA and it should never have been a...
