Topic: Which would you choose ScummVM on DS or PSP

You can get used to the controls on the PSP, at least it has analogue controls. However, it still doesn't come close to the touch screen. Some games like Broken Sword or COMI are only supported here and are not scaled down as much as they would be on the DS. I don't know about speed, on the PSP ther...

There are no improvements in the FM-Towns-version over the Talkie-version so there was no point in making a patch as I read once.

Just wanted to wish you good luck with your project. I'm coding for years now but still huge projects like these scare me. But there is always that one point that makes it all worth it - the first time your software does what it should do :)

The Sandisk sticks are the best choice for the PSP, that's for sure although I was surprised that the 4gb hdd performs so bad.

I doubt current computers have any problems with 2D-gfx output while playing compressed audio in the background I usually have 5+ programs running under windows while listening to music and I never get slowdowns. Well, my question was more related to the PSP version - I really don't think that any ...

I always wondered about performance impact that comes from compressing the files. So far I only had MI1 compressed with no trouble so it seems to me that compression is not an issue for the earlier games (MP3 decoding shouldn't take away that much power from the PSP). So, when does it become an issu...

I always thought of these games to be ideal candidates for ScummVM. Very nice efforts, Future Wars alreadys plays fine. Maybe some day the Amiga soundtrack could be supported because that sounded a lot better than the Adlib music. However, there are some great developments ahead with all the new gam...

Don't forget the german translations:

So you can at least play the english talkie versions with german text.

I'd really like to see more in-house productions from LucasArts again - if for nothing else then for the great in-jokes. The problem with that is that most of the people from the golden age of LucasArts have left the company. About the "most" - does just one of the veterans still work the...

Which is the best phone (readability/compatibility) ?

I'm in the process of getting a new phone - and it needs to have support for ScummVM :) My choice would be the Sony P910i because of the touchscreen. Is the touchscreen also used for moving the mouse? Also this device seems to be one of the most compatible. But then i read this thread: http://forums...
