I don't know how helpful this is, but I know that the author of NES.app (an NES emulator for iPhone) also had issues with switching back and forth between landscape and portrait mode in 2.0. Ultimately, he ditched his old landscape code and re-wrote it. I think it has something to do with the open s...

I think you explained it very well, echomote. Although your idea, Vinterstum, is an improvement to the actual system, I think the touchpad control is much easier to use (though probably not easier to develop for you ;) ) as it is already known by laptop users. It is like moving the mouse on the scre...

I too think about downgrading if ScummVM (and some other programs) won't be ported to 2.0
Hopefully they will. And if/while the programmers do so, they could even implement the touchpad feature

I totally agree! This feature is in fact needed. It is very difficult to hit specific points because you cannot see them with your finger on the screen. Touchpad Pro shows a very good way of implementing touchscreen control. This should be adapted by ScummVM. Probably it is a good idea to enable/dis...

Monkey Island 2 realy slow
I'm running scummVM on my Sony Clie PEG-NX73V and it is realy slow. I would guess it is about 10% of the original speed. But it doesn't seem like the CPU of my PDA is overstressed. For example I can switch of tha PDA during the game whenever i want to. Others might know it. If the CPU is busy you ca...

Are you serious? Could someone actually make Full Throttle work? I hear the DS just didn't have the processing power to do it. Man, that was one of the greatest computer games ever. If that could be ported, I'd buy it in a second.agentq wrote: You could even do Full Throttle or The Dig if you wanted to.

I have a games n music card, and most games work for me. I've got the following to work: Monkey Island 1 Monkey Island 2 Sam and Max Indiana Jones (both) and Day of Tentacle The best advice is to wait and see. The games n music card is sooo slow. It'll take a while, but if you did it right, it'll st...

any game element skipped in the dig?
Hi guys I was wondering something. Back in the day I used to play Full throtle via scummvm and I recall that certain game elemts simply 'skipped' to a point that it was completed. sutch as the destruction derby and the finding of the parts to get over to big gorge, cruising on the freeway and pickin...
