And as I said above, most of the Sierra SCI games run very well in DOSBox. Sarien and NAGI already handle most if not all the AGI games. I used to lament the fact that Free SCI's development was so slow. As good as DOSBox is these days and with the new patches by NewRisingSun for the worst of the Si...

Please, please, please , stay out of the registry! While most users will not need to edit the ini, you DO NOT want most users anywhere near the registry. They could easily end up with an unbootable system. A large registry can also effect performance. What makes the most sense to me is to simply use...

DOSBox is the best bet for running the DOS versions of the SCI KQ games, but the graphics of the DOS version of KQ6 is inferior to the W...

Loom and MT-32

I have the floppy version of Loom with the LucasArts MT-32 patch. Every time that I try to play the game in ScummVM .8, it keeps giving me an error that it can't find the control ROM and then closes. I don't want to use King Guppy's emulator, I have a real MT-32. It works in DOSBox, but I want to pl...

Monkey Island Madness CD Audio

I would like to rip the audio from my Monkey Island Madness CD to my HDD and compress it to OGG, but it seems to be 24 separate tracks. Is there a way to tell which track go with which game? Do I have to compress each track separately, or is there a way to combine them into one file for each game. H...

The game seems to work fine for me. I did have some problems with audio sync, but ripping the audio track to ogg solved that.
