HFVExplorer can read and write Macintosh CDs and Floppys on the PC.

There is a Tutorial for this.

http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/HOWTO-Mac_Games

If you have any problems, feel free to ask, as I have copied several Mac games off their original media on my PC.

Yeah, didn't encounter any of those bugs mentioned before.

Good work!

The only thing now is, for Monkey2Towns Translations, one now has to choose FM-Towns as platfrom manually for it to work.

Otherwise, really nice detection now, Fingolfin :D

This bug only happens for fan-translations of indy3towns.

I have already reported it, but not as a seperate bugreport.

If fingolfin told me to file so, or if it gets overlooked, i file a more sophisticated report.

currently, zak and monkey2 transes don't work at all with current svn.

If everything else fails, delete the file C:\Windows\scummvm.ini

That definitely helps as a last resort.

There is also one noticable outstander: SamNMax - it uses General Midi internally, thus it produces the best music with either Windows Midi, a real Midi card or a good Soft-Synth. Neither AdLib nor the MT-32 are truely General Midi capable, so they're suboptimal for SamNMax. Dig, Ft and Comi AFAIK u...

In fact, for Monkey Island 2 I rarely bother with MIDI at all, since I think the Adlib music sounds so nice. Now there's someone who shares my feelings. :D Even though I have a real MT-32, which still sounds a bit better than the EMU+ROM-Files, I must admit that the AdLib music for MI2 and Indy4 so...
