I have it working on my PS3 through OSX. It takes a small amount of technical knowlege, but once you get Mac OSX on the PS3, you realize how much power the ps3 really has. IMHO you are full of BS, please show us a link to where it is said how to install MacOSX on the PS3, I have never heard of it.....

I think the ScummVM team shuld focus on getting a version of ScummVm that runs straight from the XMB. Getting it to run on a Linux build installed on a PS3 doesn't really seem in keeping with ScummVM ethos. It'd probably be tough as prehistoric shit, but if you cracked it, I can guarentee you that ...

I agree, but I would not choose AGS because there aren't an open-source interpreter of it. I don't understand the reason of the AGS developer, but he's obssesive with not opening the source code because some weird reasons that are senseless to me. Official AGS interpreter uses the forgotten Allegro...

if there are enough people who would buy the mac-os/x version, then a scummvm support will not be needed, but if the game is supported by scumm it will be sold even better than a mac-os version only. How can a game supported by Scumm even sell better? And with fingolfin also stated that it won't be...

Well, the BC software emulation should be at about 95% with the latest firmware (at least that's what I'm told).. And Sony did mention before the release that when the software was good enough they would remove the chip, so it shouldn't be a suprise that they didn't ship it with the chip.. And I per...

Does anyone know what files are required for Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards? Why not copy all? that should make the game work.. And remember that it only works with the original 1st lsl, the 'remake' is SCI and not AGI, so won't work until SCI will be added (or use FreeSCI ins...

Does it work on the PS3?

Just wondering, since this port would work on a PS2 (modified I guess), would it work without any modification on the PS3, since that can run PS2 games. Or would I just need to run the linux version...

I'm abandoning all propietary messaging networks and switching fully to Jabber (now XMPP). I'm convincing all my contacts for do the switch and now I convinced some of my best friends. I tried to put my Jabber address on the ScummVM forum but seems not possible. I would like that someone adds the p...

It seems that the linux version has different files than the Windows version, so that would mean that it needs to support 2 versions, and I guess that could be a 'problem'... (ofcourse apart from the fact that one needs to reverse engineer the whole game)..

We waited for someone to come along and write an alternative pathfinding algorithm, for example, to avoid a patent. Meanwhile, the (patented) iMuse is currently in the ScummVM tree. And ScummVM has received legal threats from Lucasarts in the past, IIRC. We have not. not to downplay the importance ...
