If you look in the "Options" section of the ScummVM gui and click on the "Paths" tab, it will tell you the exact location of the Save Path (which is where your saved games live).

You could try using a boot parameter instead: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Boot_Params

Try taking them out of the "sounds" folder and putting them directly in with the game files, as md5 said above.

Hmmm... according to this page:

http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/SCUMM/Versions

COMI is actually SCUMM v8... does that mean the error is in this line?
Also as a general note, high resolution and Scumm V7 games (COMI etc) won't work for various reasons (memory and resolution)

Yay, go md5! It's worth pointing out (as is stated on the wiki page) that IHNM is one of the few ScummVM games that is still available for purchase (albeit at a rather high price). Look here: http://harlanellison.com/herc.htm#ihnm That said I haven't actually bought it from them, so reports from any...

I'm with clem, I think (generally) you like the one you played first (with me, was MI2). I think that works for a lot of other things too (for example, the Alien films...).

I think the Alt/Ctrl 0-9 quick saves aren't supposed to work in BASS: they're scumm engine specific iirc.
As for F5... what clem said :-)

What platform are you running ScummVM on, and what version of it?

Take a look at the readme file that comes with the tools; you need to use the command prompt.

I don't know of any list like that. However, laffer's post on this thread:

http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=4248

Is fairly comprehensive when it comes to the earlier games (the only ones where there was a myriad of different versions).

The easiest way to get it, if you don't know your way around the system, is to go the system menu, administration, and synaptic package manager. Then search for scummvm. That is an earlier version (0.9.1) than the most recent (0.10.0) though. If you need 0.10.0, you'll have to grab the debian packag...

Currently you'll have to supply this flag in the command line only. Try making a shortcut to scummvm, then edit the .lnk file to include the required command line flag. Perhaps we can add some code to parse this flag from the config file as well. Cool thanks knakos, hadn't thought to edit the .lnk ...
