I'm not sure, but is the Amiga music any better than the digital music that Wyrmkeep made with their second ITE update? Cause that digital music sounds very good to me, at least. I didn't hear the digital remixes, so I can't compare. But I seem to remember that they were remade by Matthew Nathan hi...

Nice, yes -- although Revolution probably didn't expect players to try and initiate dialogues while the background was still moving :) In the aformentioned issue (the chapel for example), you can easily bypass the "bug" by standing next to the priest, waiting for the scrolling to stop and ...

Unless you have a monster config, I think it's normal. BS1 (like BS2, MI3, IHNM and maybe a couple others) is already natively in "hires" (640x480). Applying any filter will inevitably scale the image up and slow down the whole display.

There are actually more than one or two places where it happens (believe the betatester in me), but most of the time the inconvenient is negligeable. However, there's at least one scene (when talking extensively to the priest in Montfaucon Chapel) where I just couldn't read the three long lines of t...

Ok, here is one in Scotland.

Just walk right and as soon as you see the tower, right-click on it to examine it.

This kind of situation (dialogues and messages being displayed on the screen while the background scrolls horizontally) happens a lot in BS2, but it seldom occurs in BS1 (maybe because the problem is already present in the original exe and the developers wanted to hide it?). I'll try to find a good ...

Re: Goblins 3 bugs

I'm rather reluctant to add further support, exactly because it is an adult game. Well, the adult games designed by Muriel Tramis are as raunchy as Broken Sword 2 and its nylon panties. Besides, I can think of much more traumatic games than Geisha or Fascination. Take for example Full Throttle (Rip...

Broken Sword 1: subtitles move along with the scrolling

I'm not sure whether it's a bug or a "feature" of the first game, but while playing both episodes I noticed a strange behaviour in BS1. If you happen to talk or trigger any kind of message while walking across the screen, the subtitles move along with the scrolling (like if they were part ...

You're making me doubt, Erik. I know both games in their talkie version have some form of issue with the subtitles, but I always mix them up :p

It was removed because the subtitles don't match the dialogues. As I recall it, some words are different, some lines are changed or even absent.

IMHO, Flac support should be limited to CD tracks. Re-encoding compressed music/speech in a lossless format is totally pointless. So pointless that it makes me smile while writing this :)

Well, I don't think that's comparable at all. But maybe I totally misunderstood what Reckless is asking for. I'm not familiar with Vista.

Thing is, you're asking for a Windows feature but ScummVM is designed to be platform independant.
