First you need to download the Windows version of ScummVM here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scummvm/scummvm-1.5.0-win32.exe?download Once you have done that just follow this guide I wrote for playing multi-disc games though ScummVM. For the purpose of the guide I focused mostly on The Curse o...

It seems that I am able to use jump targets to jump directly into points of year 2, so I assume that means it isn't a problem with year 2 itself. I can't quite remember, in the original version would it ask for disc 2 to be entered before or after the game shows Manny mopping the floor? The game is ...

Game crashing at end of year 1
Today I thought I would play through Grim Fandango with the latest unstable release, and I found that the game crashed straight after talking to Celso at the end of year 1. I know that in previous releases ResidualVM has allowed progression further than this, so I thought I would point it out in cas...

As far as a know, Gilbert Goodmate isn't a game which ScummVM supports. However, I'm afraid that you wouldn't get help on this forum anyway because you downloaded the game and this goes against forum rule #0: 0) No Warez. No Abandonware discussions. Links to content of a questionable nature, asking ...

Re: Ron Gilbert on Disney: “It should be me that owns MI&quo
It really is a shame to see that it has indeed been passed over to Disney. I loved the Monkey Island Series, and as far as I see it Ron Gilbert is the rightful owner. I really hope he can work something out with Disney, although I agree that that is very unlikley to happen.

I thought I would count up the different platforms I have/had ScummVM for. It turns out that it is actually equal if I count seperate OSes. (Although, I don't use it on most of my platforms now) 1. Windows 2. Ubuntu 3. Android 4. iOS ( No longer have because my iPod Touch is no longer jailbroken ) 5...

As you say, it takes a lot of effort to add a game to ScummVM. In fact, adding support for a single game engine can take years of dedication, (I believe there is still work being done on the SCUMM engine occasionally, even though it was the first engine supported many years back) and therefore will ...
