Support has been added recently and it seems to work well. That happened after the latest stable version 1.6.0 was released, though.
To play it, you need to either wait for the next stable release 1.7.0 (which might happen soon-ish), or download one of our Daily Builds.

Re: About Kyrandia and SCUMM
Is Kyrandia was written around SCUMM from the original LucasArts Nope. Completely different engine, no relations at all. ScummVM has grown to be more than just a reimplementation of SCUMM; it's now a collection of several dozens of engines, all different and unrelated to the original SCUMM by Lucas...

Let's welcome the GSoC students
http://scummvm.org/data/news/GSOC-14_banner.png For the seventh year in a row, we have been accepted as a Google Summer of Code project. Perhaps it is because both our project and the program have unusual letter casing? The world may never know, but we are thrilled to be accepted again and welcome ...

Unfortunately, most of the games do not run on GNU/Linux. And The Book of Unwritten Tales... Well, there's this issue that has been known for a year now, with the issue traced to the Ogre libraries the game ships with, yet there hasn't been any peep from the developer at all about it. Neither on Ste...

Lost in Time does something similar. The title screen that's shown for 5 seconds at the start of the game is using a resolution of 640x400, while the rest of the game plays in 320x200.

since the verbs, hotspot names, and objects should be known to ScummVM That's highly game/engine specific. Some engines do, some probably don't. And there's nothing in ScummVM to abstract that, to bind the hotspot concepts of different engine together and pass it somewhere. For example, for the gob...
