No. You will need to edit the Makefile and comment the line out where is it says so.

There are two types of SDL for Mac:
a) the one for Xcode
b) the one for unix
The Xcode version will not work. You will need to install the unix version. The easiest way to do this is by using DarwinPorts or Fink.

I didn't mean that in a bad way. I think ScummVM is an excellent program and so is mame. I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to coding. ScummVM is already evolving and expanding into other engines just like mame and thats the point I was trying to make. I wasn't implying that you meant it in a bad way...

You cannot compare scummvm with mame. While scummvm is a collection of script interpreters, mame emulates CPUs. A better comparison to mame (though not quite either) would be dosbox, which supports way more games than scummvm does.

Assuming you have Xcode installed, you should be able to use cvs. In order to download residual, you will need to type in:

Code: Select all

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sf.net/cvsroot/scummvm co residual

As much as I love Lands of Lore, it is completely out of the scope of Scummvm since it is not an adventure game.

I believe it works fine with Dosbox though.

Same here. I would really like to see a full soundtrack if you have the time to do it.
Well done!

Re: Factory

http://s44.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2YXMK5HUPBYF32JLH6GB245CPA Opinions greatly appreciated. :) Nice stuff mate! Although this is an entirely new composition based on the original melody rather than a remix. So I doubt this would ever make it as the "official" remake. I would still like to...

Let's please not get into any ego wars. I think that glidem's version sounds very nice. And edweird's demo on http://www.logic.turntablism.info/mp3/bass1.mp3 sounds great too (though with all due respects, it sounds midi'ish too, so I don't see the whole point of argument). We appreciate anybody her...

Does anybody really care? We're not in the "ROM world" here. The proper abbreviations to use would be ISO region codes which would indicate the US version as "us" and the UK (European English) versions as "gb". but as we're dealing with one letter abbreviations, everybo...
