I am not sure you would want to run ScummVm on an "old machine", unless it's not that old after all. It takes a lot of resources, even if run under DOS. What about from a Pentium 100 to a Pentium II 300? That range seems the most usual DOS configuration for retrogamers as I readed from VO...

Wow. I did write DOS backend some time ago using DJGPP and allegro lib and it actually worked pretty well, but I deleted all the source codes by accident. Think I should make backups frequently. :P Are you considering to developing it again someday? What about a bounty for it? I will get an old mac...

Club Caribe using an early SCUMM engine with MUD stuff?

Anyone know if Habitat and Club Caribe has some internal similiarities with early SCUMM games? http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/460/habitatlogoih4.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/4683/habitatpopustopentranceyy1.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/3038/habitatpopustopbbsbq8.jpg Club Carib...

The best Maniac Mansion version is of course Maniac Mansion Deluxe, by LucasFan. Read ScummVM's FAQ 2.4 2.4. When will Maniac Mansion Deluxe be supported? The short answer: never. The long answer: This game is a fan-made replica of the original Maniac Mansion. It is not the same game as Maniac Mans...

Here is a list of the actual homebrew/backup solutions for Wii, sadly neither of them support Wii homebrew or using the Wiimote because the access to Wii hardware is protected. Ant news about this? Users can contribute to testing each game and providing it's experiences on a public wiki section or the forum.

What about an AGI forum section?

Any news about this? Actually is quite outdated compared to the CIA logs and not specifing the modified files. Qhat about generating ChangeLog based on the CIA logs and putting a link to it on the main page? It could be great for those ScummVM nerds like me and others ;) I found this: http://ch.tude...

I agree as well, it's not worth the effort, it makes the program harder to use for the benefit of a small fraction of its users Why marginating a smaller portion of users? If everyone thinks as you, then 99.99999999999999% non-Microsoft operating systems could be with 0% apps. Thanks to people thin...

Maybe the latest mockup is nice, but changing engines by companies. Optionally, it can be given some flexibility to users making it's own custom themes with all the nerdy & geeky stuff on it 8) Geeks and nerds seems to be important in the ScummVM user percecentage (at least they seems to collabo...

Alan Cox... HorrorSoft, AGOS and AberMUD V

Hello, I've seen a bit of historical information about the AGOS engine, in the ScummVM wiki is too few. The AGOS Engine was originally created by Alan Cox at HorrorSoft and is based on AberMUD V, with graphical extensions. ( From http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/AGOS ) It could be nice if some wiki...

I added the official Spanish version of Elvira 2 to ScummVM SVN, use the next daily snapshot of ScummVM SVN. For a fan translation to be added to AGOS engine of ScummVM: 1. It must be publically available via patch. 2. It must be complete or still in active development. 3. There should be no offici...

About the last two: the "+" on the left of the bar usually means that new items will pop out BELOW it (like a tree). It doesn't make sense to click on something with a "+" next to it and have new information displayed to you on another pane. A more intuitive way to display this ...
