Sorry for the duplicate post in the junkyard. I didn't see this thread until after.

I just picked up A golden Wake too. It's from the guy who did the Ben Jordan series. I'm only an hour into it, but I'm, enjoying it so far.

GOG sale again!

Over at GOG, they have a bunch of adventure games for cheap. Some telltale, wadget eye, simon the sorcerer, tex murphy. Worth taking a look.

BTW, I had QFG on my mind, and was thinking of SQ2VGA.
Sorry 'bout that.

GOG adventure game sale time again!

(EDIT: see my lower post) Over at Indiegala, they have a 5 game bundle that includes Quest for Infamy. It's on sale thru the weekend and is $2.50. However, since it sells for $20 normally, it's worth it regardless of the other games. Even on sale, it rarely goes below $10. It is similar to the Quest...

I know it's been said before, but it really is confusing for newcomers when the description for The Junkyard says to ask in here if a new game will be supported. Although, the OP didn't ask if any of the games would be supported, he just said he wanted them to be... ideally this type of demand shoul...

Wow. Never thought I'd see the day when a Lucas* game would be officially distributed with Scummvm. Does anyone know if the GOG version of Indiana FOA uses Scummvm too? I'm currently unemployed and have no spending $$ to find out for myself. ** And to anyone who isn't unemployed (like me), thank the...

We have had issues in the past with Paypal Donations, so I'm not sure we would want add another payment / donation provider and have a repeat of these problems: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?p=12891 I remember that, it was a while ago. They basically tried to ban emulators and/or programs...

Agree. I miss the Aero theme for my Windows laptop.

Ive been using KDE 4 for my Linux box. Haven't switched to 5 yet, but doesn't look as nice. If I want simple, I'll use openbox or JWM or something.

Glad it was helpful. I've always been "thrifty" & like others to save as well. So I try to only share deals that I buy, or would buy if I didn't already own the game. With all these bundles & digital downloads, games (& programming in general) have been devalued so much recentl...

Microids games for cheap,

Over at Bundlestars , they have Syberia 1&2, Still Life 1&2& Postmortem, Scratches, Nikopol for $2.50 USD. It's called the Arctic Bundle.

None are ScummVM compatible, but all are P&C adventure games.
Unfortunately, they are only Steam Keys & only for Windows.

Glad to see HHH finally on Good OLD Games & that he finally relinquished his own port & used Scummvm to sell his games. In addition to the new Mac & Linux & Win32 (no more win16) versions, hopefully, we'll see some official mobile ports on the way. Funny, he still sells his version f...
