Well, I own the german Sold Out versions of Broken Sword 1+2 and I run them on my PDA quite well. I tried also the demo of BS1 on my PDA to see the differences. The videos do run quite well in the PPC version which I can't say about the MPEG2 videos of BS1 of my Windows version on PocketScumm. I hop...

I hope detection gets better. For example, I just wondered when I tried to run a few fanmade games if ScummVM is detecting all AGI games by their md5. I tried to run the template game from AGI Studio and it's not working. So I suppose if anyone develops a game with AGI Studio and want it to run in S...

No, you have to copy the files of both CDs in one directory with the resource folders of both in this directory. Look here.

Wow, 130% donated  . I suppose the bar is working now.
I find it a good idea to show this status bar whenever you need some donations, so we users can see how much you need. Good luck for further development on ScummVM.

Happy new year!

Happy New Year to all of you dear ScummVM developers and ScummVM users! I wish you all a good year 2007. May ScummVM support more adventure games during the year and may its progress never be stopped. Btw: Maniac Mansion, the first SCUMM game, has its 20th anniversary as well as LucasArts has its 25...

Re: Space Quest IV

oh and will dos box work for palm os? :-D Well, I don't think that DOSBox is fast enough for PalmOS. I tried it with my own PDA and only very old games do run properly. Any "newer" games like SQ4 may run too slow to be enjoyable while playing. Howerver, you can search for a PalmOS port of...

Lucas Arts compilation petition

Hello dear ScummVM users. I've had an idea of creating a petition demanding LEC to re-release the 12 SCUMM adventures like Vivendi did with the Sierra compilations. I hope it's OK that I advertised the ScummVM project in the petition since it does run all SCUMM games best (hence the name  ). I...

Happy holidays from me, too, and of course many thanks to the ScummVM team for providing adventuregamers for five years now the possibility of playing truly classic adventuregames on nearly every OS today. Keep up the good work :) . And to all adventure gamers: Happy adventuring!

Since ScummVM doesn't support the AGI engine officially in the recent stable version 0.9.1, you can only play AGI games with daily builds yet.

I think it would be a bad idea for them to break back into Adventure games by releasing a SEQUEL. I think it's just been too long and we have to admit that we are a niche market. If they break back in, it is my opinion that they need to start a new franchise, or perhaps REDO the original Maniac Man...

I presume the version that comes with DOTT is Enhanced? That's the only one I have (and I'm ashamed to say I haven't got round to finishing it yet!). No, the one with DOTT is v1. Well, actually you're both partially right. While in the English version of DOTT it's the v1 Maniac Mansion, in the Germ...

Oh, I didn't know there are already PDAs with 3D-cards available. Well, if Residual is finally finished, it would be great to play it on a PocketPC wherever you are :) . But this can take a long time until Residual is working with no problems at all.

I guess only AGS games which don't use any *.dll libraries can be played on Linux and/or Mac OS, or so I heard. Since MMD uses the "AGSflashlight.dll" library, I don't think you can get it running on any other system than Windows. But I'm no expert with this, so ask for support on the AGS ...

Cool. 8) Gotta download this now. I hope the recent PocketPC build is supporting some games like BS1 and BS2 better than the older one. Big thanks to you, guys :) . edit: Say, there is no support for the new compression method of the dxa files of The Feeble Files. Nor is there this new dxa support f...
